I. Constitution
Article
1 .- The Latin American Association of Veterinary Neurology
Neurolatinvet be governed by these statutes and regulations:
Article
2 .- The purpose of this partnership is the promotion, dissemination
and education of veterinary neurology and its related areas
in Latin America, for this purpose will take into account the
following points:
To recruit
veterinarians dedicated to the specialty with the aim of disseminating
their knowledge in the academic and research institutions.
Promote
and organize meetings, seminars, courses or conferences at both
regional and international levels with the support of members
of the association.
Develop
virtual training for the members of the association
Promote
discussion of clinical cases of virtually
Develop
website www.neurolatinvet.com
Chapter
II. Social heritage
Article
3 .- ° .- The assets of the partnership shall consist of:
Contributions
from partners on an annual basis (U.S. 100)
Contributions
raised by events organized by the association
Contributions
collected by virtual courses
Contributions
collected by advertising on the site of the association
Chapter
III .- Partners
Article
4 .- class partners. The partners may be:
Founding
Partners: will be read as founding members to all those who
signed the minutes in Santiago, Chile, and they have made contact
with the executive secretary to May 31, 2008.

Active
partners will be construed as active partners to those professionals
who are interested in being actively involved in the partnership
if they meet the following requirements
Article
5 .- (Income Partners). To join the association will require
applying in writing to the committee which is responsible for
issuing concept in relation to the same taking into account
the particulars of the applicant's resume.
Article
6 .- To be admitted as a partner is required
Being a
veterinary doctor
Prove minimal
experience in the practice of the profession in 5 years
Prove to
be active in the area of veterinary neurology through: *
Two years
of dedication to the specialty. This will need to be supported
by scientific reports on their case mix, or participation in
seminars as a lecturer.
Prove to
be a teacher in the area of neurology veterinary *
Being the
bearer of title to their home country or abroad in the field
of veterinary neurology (specialist, teacher or doctor) *
Having
made it part of the group of founding members provided they
establish contact with the coordinator until the June 15, 2008

Article
7 .- (Rights of the partners). The rights of partners will include
the following:
1. Of the
founder and active:
Be voters
and candidates;
Integrate
the General Assembly with the right to speak and vote;
Request
the convening of the General Assembly
Using the
various social services;
Submit
to the Board initiatives favorable to the improvement of the
association in any aspect.
Use the
title of Neurolatinvet partner in the respective category
Participating
scientists implanted the events, provided they register
Obtain
the exemption from the annuity after 70 years of age meet, and
at least 5 parentage.
Obtain
the exemption from the annuity for periods of economic crisis
in the country of residence of the participant, duly verified
Article
8 .- (Duties of the Partners). Are obligations of the partners:
Settle
the ordinary shares and the extraordinary contributions that
will be established. The founding partners, assets and subscribers
must pay an annuity, the amount of it will be fixed by the Board.
This annuity must be paid during the month of January each year,
one member who is not paid to the annuity March 1 will lose
its character as a member, you can not vote or remain in office,
and will be removed from the List of Affiliates . In this case,
the individual may reapply in accordance with laid down in Art.
5 and Art. 6 of this document.
Abide by
the rules and social resolutions;
Specialty
exercise with dignity and conscience, observing the moral standards
set by society and by the code of ethics and professional ethics;
Update
their knowledge constantly through courses, conferences and
seminars of specialty, must achieve a minimum score to be determined
by the Committee on Vocational Training in a period of 2 years
or pay a written test proposed by the Committee to end of that
period. The points gained in the various courses, conferences
and seminars will be established by the Committee on Training
of Neurolatinvet pursuant to the provisions of Chapter IV, Section
6, Section 4.
Tender
to the degree of specialist in Veterinary Neurology.
Article
9 .- Candidates
It is understood
as all those aspiring veterinarians who want to be part of the
partnership but did not meet any of the requirements of article
six. therefore the candidate for membership will have to attend
the course in veterinary neurology which will be held from March
2009
